What Payment Methods Can I Use to Check Out on Clinch Marketplace?
Most vendors on Clinch Marketplace offer:
Credit cards
- Debit/bank cards
- Gift Cards and Credit
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- PayPal
Some vendors accept only some of these methods.
Credit and debit cards
Vendors who accept credit and debit cards on Clinch Marketplace accept most major credit issuers, including:
- Visa
- Mastercard/Eurocard
- Discover
- American Express
You may see a pending transaction on your credit card bill for a small amount. This is a pre-authorisation test to ensure your card is valid. Once your card has been validated, it will be dropped from your statement.
Your card will be saved for future purchases. You can remove or edit your saved card by going to Your Account > Billing Information > Credit Cards Update.
If you’re in the EEA
If you’re in the EEA, which comprises the EU, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein, you may be asked to authenticate your payment when you complete a purchase.
To authenticate a payment, you will need to respond to a prompt from your card issuer and provide additional information. Depending on your card issuer, this additional information may include a correct response to a question, a password, or a passcode.
Gift Card or Credit
If you have an Gift Card or Credit balance, the option to pay with that balance will automatically be selected. Deselect the box if you’d prefer not to use your balance.

I don’t see this option
You need an Clinch Marketplace account in order to either purchase or redeem an Gift Card or Credit.
Apple Pay
Apple Pay is a mobile payment service available to many iOS buyers who are shopping on Safari on desktop or mobile.
Google Pay
Google Pay is a mobile payment service available to buyers who are shopping on mobile.
PayPal
If you choose to pay through PayPal, you’ll be redirected to a secure PayPal page and then back to Clinch Marketplace to confirm the order. When purchasing using PayPal on multi-shop checkout, you can purchase from up to 10 shops in one transaction. Learn more about multi-shop checkout.
You may be able to pay with a card via PayPal without a PayPal account. Here’s how:
- Select Check out with PayPal and you’ll be redirected to PayPal. Instead of choosing to pay with your PayPal account, select Pay with Debit or Credit Card.
- You’ll be prompted to fill in your billing and credit card information.
- Enter your email address so PayPal can send you a receipt.
- Select Continue to return to Clinch Marketplace. Your payment isn’t sent until you select Submit order on Clinch Marketplace.
PayPal places restrictions on how often you can use their Guest Checkout feature. If you run into any trouble or have any questions about PayPal’s Guest Checkout, please contact PayPal directly.
As Paypal does not operate in Turkey, PayPal is not available in shops or for buyers located in Turkey. Additionally, vendors in Israel can’t currently accept PayPal payments.
However you can purchase in their stores using any other available payment methods: Credit cards, Debit/bank cards, Gift Cards and Credits, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
