This pattern was developed by a couple of good mates in Geoff Volter and Bill Mitchell, initially to fish for golden trevally on our home flats. Over the years this fly has proven itself a fantastic eachway bet, as it can be fished static or slow for targets such as tailing permit and golden trevally, or fished fast when cast ahead of cruising fish.
